The Sol Cycles vision began in 2007 when four Princeton engineers were inspired to design a line of affordable bamboo bikes that would outperform many high-end carbon bikes. Bamboo is naturally optimized to be strong, stiff, light, and dampen vibrations - it is thus a perfect material to use in bike frame construction. As a natural composite, each frame is unique and has a ride quality that will revolutionize the cycling world.
